Who We Are
With a few savings and combining our professions — Asier working for more than 19 years in cargo handling at the Port of Bilbao, and Edurne spending over 14 years working in the dining hall of the public school in Lekeitio and as a youth activity instructor — we were able to buy an old 30-foot sailboat.
That was the moment we discovered that this world truly inspired us… and that life at sea was something we wanted to pursue together...
And with our children still very young, we began taking small sailing trips, but staying at sea for longer periods

Our desire to discover new horizons and live new adventures led us to a larger ocean-going boat — a 38-foot Puma from 1976, which we named in Basque “Geure ametsa,” meaning “Our Dream.”
Our challenge — and our great dream — was to cross the Atlantic sailing as a family.
To prepare for it, we devoted all our free time to getting ready: studying, restoring the boat and sailing as much as possible.
Our beloved Puma 38 ketch “Geure ametsa” also took part in offshore regattas such as the Biscay Challenge 2009.

Fue un año MARAVILLOSO, conseguimos cruzar el Atlántico a vela y vivir una experiencia increíble navegando en familia entre las pequeñas Antillas

Tras volver de las Américas, pasábamos más tiempo a bordo que en casa, por lo que volvimos a ir a más… ésta vez compramos un 41 pies del 2001, en el cuál estuvimos viviendo 6 meses al año durante más de 7 años.

Y después de todos estos años de crecimiento personal y profesional, nuestro siguiente reto fue
vivir y trabajar a bordo
durante todo el año. Para ello, y después de muuucho buscar, nos enamoramos perdidamente de éste maravilloso
catamarán Fountaine Pajot de 46 pies
"Glup Sail" . Y con TODO ya muy claro en nuestro interior, nos llevó a ambos a solicitar una excedencia en nuestros trabajos de tierra, quienes nos apoyaron 100% en nuestro
proyecto de vida.
